Important Issues for Anderson Township

Protect Our Parks — Public Land, Public Good!

Our parks are one of the major assets of Anderson Township. Like many Anderson residents, Tom, Patrice and their daughters spend countless hours in our parks. That’s why Tom opposes any plans to privatize park land instead of expanding with new features that benefit the entire community. The new Beech Acres property is an opportunity to replace the great loss our community suffered when Coney Island closed.

Responsible Development — Less Smoke, More Hope

As a small business owner, Tom is very supportive of fostering new businesses in our community. There is a right and wrong way to bring businesses into Anderson. Currently, we are becoming a hub for smoke shops after we lost Coney Island. It was also sad to see Inspiring Kind Bakery become Beechmont Avenue’s next smoke shop. Instead of settling for businesses that don’t contribute to Anderson’s vitality, Tom wants to responsibly bring in businesses that will contribute to the culture and growth of our amazing township.

Supporting Our Schools — Strong Schools = Stronger Community

Many of us live in Anderson because of our phenomenal schools. Trustees should be working with the School Board to strengthen our Schools and collaborate when possible. Tom will advocate for the Forest Hills School District, collaborate with our school board members, and support our students, parents, and teachers.
